Portable Offices
Being set down on wooden blocks ensures they are incredibly stable when occupants are moving inside. Each cabin has two well-placed double power points, and will perform as a good-sized meeting space with room for furniture and storage. Also, our quality building materials, insulation, carpet, and curtains will ensure your working environment or storage space is healthy, dry and secure.
Portable Sleepouts
You can rest assured that your loved ones will be staying in a healthy environment. All MIZIN Cabins and sleepouts meet or exceed New Zealand building codes, and are homely, quiet, and stable. Each cabin comes with wall, ceiling, and floor cavity insulation, quality carpet, thermal-backed curtains, and an opening window and door equipped with safety locks. We install our cabins on wooden blocks with four corner stabilisers. Two well-placed double power points mean there’s no compromise in functionality. The walls are also painted in neutral colours, so you can better personalise your space.
Portable Spare room
Having a portable spare room or hobby room separate, a safe place for toys, hobby materials, and equipment which can be locked and left, is so convenient. It means you can keep these items in one place – rather than spread throughout the house. If the room ever gets a bit messy, or needs to be secured, you can just lock the door and walk away knowing the cabin will keep your hobby items in pristine condition.

Medical & Public Service
Public services (such as healthcare centres, emergency services, and utility providers) sometimes require extra spaces in their existing site, or need to set up a new base for a particular project, such as COVID-19 testing stations, flu vaccination clinics, and medical consulting rooms. MIZIN cabins are currently being hired to DHBs to support essential workers such as doctors, nurses, locums, and rest home staff.
MIZIN cabins are cheaper than building additional rooms, in most cases you don’t need Council consents or permits, and can be hired for the time required. They also meet all Government standards for housing, so they can be safely used as a comfortable and private bedroom for staff who are on call throughout the night, or need to isolate for medical safety reasons.
Information Centres
We can supply a cabin at the size you need, for as long as you need it. With sound-proofing (even in heavy rain) and two double power points, our cabins are ideal for temporary information centres, and are so much more weatherproof than a tent!
Education
Used by office staff, teachers, and students, MIZIN cabins can be placed adjacent to or distanced from the main buildings. They can perform as suitable offices, working spaces, and security stations. They also make for practical sick bays, which don’t require a permit and offer a healthy and safe environment for isolation or recovery. Another handy use is for the annual school fair, as offices or ticketing booths.
Portable Site office Hire for Building sites
If your project’s length of time is unknown or extended, a MIZIN cabin is the answer. For example, you can hire it for six months and then extend the contract on a month-by-month basis, as required. Remember too, MIZIN’s quality building materials, insulation, carpet, and curtains provide a warm and healthy place throughout the seasons.

With value for money in mind, we bring high quality, low-cost portable rooms to your place of work exactly when you need them. We can deliver and install them just prior to your workers arriving, and collect them a couple of days after they finish their work – leaving your company with a clean and undamaged site with minimal environmental damage.
